International Monster’s Day – Free Giveaway!

We’re very excited here at Ooberla HQ as this Saturday May 5th is International Monsters Day! We have decided that the best way to celebrate this is with a good old fashioned Free Monster Giveaway! We’ve made some mini monsters especially for the day and will be dropping them in various places around Portsmouth and Southsea over the course of Saturday! We’ll put a photo clue or two on to our Facebook page If you’re lucky enough to find one then please send us a picture of your monster in it’s new home and we’ll pop it on the website! Remember – the eyes and teeth glow in the dark! Wooo!

Portsmouth Guildhall Boutique Market

Hello! We here at Ooberla HQ (Ooberland) have been working very hard to get more stuff ready to sell! This time it is at the Portsmouth Guildhall Boutique Market. This is a massive free entry indoor market held in (funnily enough) Portsmouth Guildhall on Sunday February 26th from 11pm – 3pm. 

It is ‘A huge collection of unique new and handmade items for the home, quirky jewellery, beautiful children’s pieces, records, pre-loved and vintage clothing and accessories.’ Here is the Facebook event page with more details.

Here are some pictures of some of the of the items that I will be selling this Sunday. Any left-overs will going straight into my Etsy shop. Let me know if you like the look of anything. Please come on down, have a look around and say hello :)

Free Art Friday!

Howdy Ooberdarlings!

This Friday (and maybe every Friday) I shall be setting a monster (or two) free onto the streets of Portsmouth to go and find a new home. This is all in the spirit of Free Art Friday, a fantastic concept that I have wanted to get involved with for a long time now. It simply involves leaving something that you have made in the street for somebody else to find (on a Friday). That’s it. Simple, but it can really make someone’s day.
